Recently

In the past few months, I have been personally requested to fill the temporary weekend coordinator position at the San Jose State University Library, been in a car accident in which my car was smashed up beyond repair and my nose was smashed up, but fortunately has been repaired. I have had to adapt to waking up earlier than I like (especially while I was riding public transit to and from work) to work a full time job while continuing the part time job I have had for the past 5 years for the San Jose Public Library. Then a friend loaned me his car as he is not legally able to drive it until sometime in March, at which time another friend is giving me an older BMW as a wedding present. Yes, the girl who my family and friends were convinced would not ever get married, did indeed tie the knot and is now adjusting to married life.
After getting engaged in mid-August and not having a date set for the wedding for several months, we finally set the date for Tuesday, December 26. That morning the groom woke up with fever which didn't break until several hours after the ceremony, which went off without a hitch in spite of his illness. Although we had originally planned on each of having just one friend, we ended up with nine people in attendance. Now in the midst of changing my name, I have stopped working at the part-time job, as I was selected for one of the 2 permenant full-time positions that I had been filling-in for in a temporary capacity.
Enough about me for now. Coming up next: the exercises for which this blog was created.
